Why and how photons from different sources have same velocity c – applied in electronics
------------------------------------------------ by Bingcheng Zhao
Many insightful and pondering professional people working in the area of electronics, due to their frequently dealing with electrons and photons, may often ask the fundamentally important questions as following. (1) Why do photons emitted from different sources, such as wood fire and light bulb, have the same velocity c? (2) Why do all photons, whether emitted from 3-volt portable flashlights, or from 12-volt vehicle lights, or from 110-volt family bulbs or 220-volt family bulbs, have same velocity c? (3) Since photons are emitted from electron, “what is the dynamic mechanism that makes photons get their velocity from the electron emitting them?” “Is there velocity connection between electron and its emitting photon?” {*No any theory in (postulate-based) modern physics, including Schrodinger’s quantum mechanics and Niels Bohr’s quantized model, can answer those questions – note; Maxwell’s classical electromagnetic wave theory cannot dynamically answer those questions – be clarified}. Those fundamentally important questions have been answered in the newly discovered and verified law of orbiting electron periodic impulse emitting photons (OEPIEP law) for the first time in the history of physics and science (P. 193 ~ 214, Ch.2A, reference #1).
The law of orbiting electron periodic impulse emitting photons (OEPIEP law): the newly discovered OEPIEP law dynamically reveals the mechanism of why and how the entire motion of a photon-emitting electron consists of two simultaneously existing composite movements, orbiting and periodic impulse closely around its equilibrium orbit position (i.e., an orbiting electron simultaneously undergoes periodic impulse — alternately and closely passing inside and outside the position of its equilibrium orbit). The dynamics of OEPIEP law reveals: over one complete period of an electron impulse, there is one moment at which the instantaneous maximum velocity of the electron is equal to the speed of light c in vacuum at the sharp turning point on its path closely inside its equilibrium orbit, where a photon is emitted from the electron. As a result, photons inherit the instantaneous maximum velocity c from the electron emitting them, maintaining and moving away at velocity c (P. 193 ~ 214, Ch.2A, reference #1). The newly established core dynamic equation of OEPIEP law is on P. 203 as Eq (2-18) (2.4.3, Ch.2A, reference #1).
The newly discovered OEPIEP law has been systematically verified from different aspects (P. 256 ~ 258, 3.4.3, Ch.3A; P. 272 ~ 273, 3.6.2, Ch.3A; P. 280 ~ 282, 3.7.3, Ch.3B, reference #1).
The fundamentally profound implications of OEPIEP law: OEPIEP law solves the most fundamental problem in quantum physics, why there are quantum states, by revealing the quantum mechanism of why and how photons get their velocity from the electron emitting them. OEPIEP law also discovers the dynamic mechanism behind the speed of light c, and reveals the mechanism behind Einstein’s famous assumption that “photon remains localized in space as it moves away from the source with a velocity c”.
The profoundly fundamental roles of OEPIEP law: OEPIEP law is the fundamentally indispensable foundation for establishing the essentially important electron-photon work-energy relation (equation) (P. 252 ~ 258, 3.4, Ch.3A, reference #1), crucially important electron-photon momentum relation (equation) (P. 258 ~ 271, 3.5, Ch.3A, reference #1), and practically important electron-photon wavelength relation (equation) (P. 271 ~ 273, 3.6, Ch.3A, reference #1). OEPIEP law dynamically thus mechanistically and essentially unifies the wave-particle dual natures of light by revealing the dynamic mechanism behind its dual natures (P. 218 ~ 222, 2.7, Ch.2B, reference #1).
The great applications of OEPIEP law: OEPIEP law reveals the mechanism and essence behind high-temperature superconductivity (thus solving the long-term unsolved mechanistically important problem of high-temperature superconductivity) (P. 229 ~ 231, 2.9.2, Ch.2B, reference #1). OEPIEP law reveals the dynamic mechanism behind photoelectric effect for the first time in the history of physics and science (P. 227 ~ 229, 2.9.1, Ch.2B, reference #1).
